ASU's Interdisciplinary Modeling Team 2003
In February 2003, Athens State University fielded its first team to ever compete in the Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling (ICM), an international contest for high school students and college undergraduates. This contest is sponsored by the Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications (COMAP). ASU's team consisted of the three members Kane Crisler, Kevin Insley, and Ken Tylman. The faculty advisor was Dr. M Leigh Lunsford. The team successfully completed the weekend long contest and earned a Satisfactory Participant mark (way to go team!).
