COMAP Contest in Modeling - 2006


On February 2 through February 6, two teams of Longwood University students competed in the Consortium for Mathematics and It's Applications (COMAP) annual contest in mathematical and interdisciplinary modeling (the MCM/ICM)!  This was the first time LU competed in this international contest.  The two teams were:

Team Delta:  Successful Participant, Problem C (ICM)

Team Epsilon:  Honorable Mention (Top 43%) , Problem A (MCM)

The advisor for both teams was Dr. M. Leigh Lunsford.
